The incumbent is expected to meet the qualifications of a Controlling Alcohol Risks Effectively (CARE) Certification, or a US Navy approved alternative. A vehicle will be available for use while serving on San Clemente. The incumbent must possess and maintain a current driver's license, as travel to other facilities located on the island is required within the normal scope of duties. The incumbent has access to a parking lot at the NASNI Air Terminal for use will serving on San Clemente. The same compensation is provided for the return flight.

Incumbents are compensated for one hour pre-flight check-in plus 30 minutes for the flight to SCI.
Departure to SCI occurs on a Wednesday and returns to NASNI on a Tuesday. The incumbents position works 7-on/7-off as part of a blue/gold operational team. All flights are scheduled through N9 department schedulers two weeks in advance. Transportation is provided, at no cost, on a twin engine, 21 passengers Fairchild Metro or a twin engine, 29 passengers Dash-8 200. This position is located on San Clemente Island and requires weekly air transportation to and from the Island. May perform other sanitation duties within assigned work area as required. Washes bar equipment, glassware, and utensils. Keeps bar area clean and keeps area stocked properly at all times. Assists in taking inventory and maintaining records. Makes change and is accountable for cash fund. Receives payment or charges to member’s accounts. Mixes a wide variety of drinks to order, following a variety of established recipes.
